You smiled at Greece, he had fallen asleep on your bed.
Your smile grew into a laugh.
He was kind, giving and a good guy, but you noticed whenever he was In his own home, he was extremely childish.
You yawned. Just looking at him in such a deep sleep made you tired.
You stood up from your bed, and placed the guitar back on its stand, you gave Greece one last look, and admired his sleepy figure before grabbing some clothes to sleep in from your closet, flicking the light off (making sure to leave the door, slightly open for him) and making your way to the bathroom.
You had been living with Greece for a while…Trying to figure out what to do with your life. On weekends, he wouldn't give you any work, so you pretty much had those days to yourself. You would explore Greece, see some sights, learn new things…You were pretty much spending your days bumming around and travelling, you didn't really care though, because to tell the truth, you liked this way of living…It suited you.
You did things at your own pace, in your own time…and things were going pretty good.
You switched on the shower, and let the hot water wash away everything. Dragging yourself out of the water in what seemed like only seconds later, you dried yourself and changed into your Pyjamas, which consisted of a baggy T-Shirt of a band you remembered as ancient, and comfortable cottony shorts. Finally slipping on a pair of socks that came to below your knees you exited the shower and dumped everything else in the laundry for you to do tomorrow.
You yawned again and grabbed some spare soft blankets from the cupboard.
"I guess I'll just crash on the couch" you decided to yourself, you didn't mind at all, it was a pretty comfortably couch.
You were about to turn from the cupboard before a pair of arms wrapped themselves around you.
You squeaked at the sudden contact.
"_________, You left" whined Greece, slightly
You knew you were to flustered to answer. "I-Uh, W-Well you were asleep and I-" You were babbling like an idiot "You were asleep, I didn't want to bother you" you finally managed to say.
"I don't think there is a way on earth that you could bother me"
He let go of you, and spun you around, then he just…Stared…
There was something in his eyes, he was looking at you, but his mind was elsewhere.
"Greece?" You stepped forward so you could get a better look at him, he never looked so…It was hard to explain what looked wrong with him…But it wasn't right!
"Are you ok?" you asked
Maybe he was sick!
You placed a hand on his forehead, your sudden action caused him to step back.
"O-oh, im sorry" you said "Sorry, I just wanted to check-"
"No, Im fine _________, really" he stared at you for a long moment again, you stayed quiet and didn't do anything this time "But…would you…" he trailed off
"Would I what?" you asked eagerly, if there was something you could do to help him, then you would do it…Now that you thought about it you owed a lot to him.
"Would you mind staying with me? Just for a while…and-and could you sing?" He averted your gaze. He wasn't usually like this, normally he was upfront about things but…
"Sure, of course" you said, not really thinking things through, you got a little caught up in trying to repay him.
He gave you his signature lazy smile, before leading you back to his room this time.
His room was on the Top floor, which was the third one, he was a wealthy country with Rich culture, history and cuisine, so you supposed it was only natural.
He sprawled out on his bed, and you sat beside him, you waited till he was comfortable, then opened your mouth to sing before he stopped you.
"Lay down if you want, Koukla Mou[1]"
You felt your cheeks heat up again "Im fine" you said, in a higher voice than anticipated.
"But you cant sleep sitting up…You said you'll stay with me" he said, drowsily.
Oh. So that's what he meant by 'Stay'. You thought it meant 'Stay until I fall asleep'…Guess not.
"U-uhm" you said as you awkwardly laid down beside him "Okay"
He lay on his back, staring straight up at the ceiling.
'Why am I so awkward!?" you hissed at yourself in your head, shaking the thought, you began to sing to him again.
It felt like you had been singing for a while, but he still didn't show any sign of tiredness. After five minutes and not so much as a yawn, you confirmed that he was sick.
"I would compliment you, you know. But I cant" he said…somewhat randomly
"…Okay" you replied, confused
He turned to you "Im sorry" he said "I remember when I was young…My mother used to tell me stories of the Gods…She used to tell me thousands of stories, and there were different versions of each…And in one, a woman once told her daughter that she was more beautiful than the Goddess Athena, and Athena, in her rage, turned her into a hideous creature that no one would dare to look at."
"Uhh" you replied
"What im trying to say is there is no way I can compliment you, without comparing you to the gods, and if I did so, I am scared of what they will do"
Oh. Ok, he was making sense now…You understood him…and what he was saying was…Really, really nice!
"Th-Thanks! I understand what you're saying" you let out a nervous laugh "Im sorry, I guess im kind of slow in the head"
"No" he said simply "No your not"
You smiled at him, before squeaking as he thre the blankets to his bed over you.
"Can you keep singing?" he asked "Please"
You laughed to yourself, and calmed yourself down. He was just like a big, little kid.
"Yeah, yeah I can…Any requests?" you asked
"Carry on" he said "With the song you were singing in your room before"
"Of course" you said, before you parted your lips and began to sing again.
"A gentlemen waits on a platform in a haze of grey and grief…
Now he's sold up his assets, starting over at 70
The steam blasts like trumpets around him
Salutes on the colonnade
As he thinks to himself:
"We're all waiting for our train to come"
You gulped at the memory of you and Anna-Beth, your friend returned to you. You felt your voice waver.
Oh, Annie
I will think of you each time I see the sun
Didn't want a year without you
But somehow I've lived through another one…"
For some reason…You pushed yourself to keep singing…Normally you couldn't finish the song, and you would stop…But you didn't…You kept singing.
"Did you find it hard to breathe at first?
Were you wounded and in disbelief at how much it hurt?
Now the ache's still burning, but the world's still turning
Isn't it?"
That verse was about you, not Annie. When you found yourself crying over her…You weren't really crying for HER. You were crying for you, because it hurt YOU, not her.
"Oh, Annie
I still think of you each time I see the sun
Didn't want a life without you
But here I am…living one"
You felt tears in your eyes, as they welled there, you felt one slip away, and run down your cheek.
You felt Greece shuffle beside you and your eyes widened at his next action…

"So there was no sense in packing anything except a coin to pay for the ferry ride across the River Styx." The Greek man beside you finished the story.
"Ooh
" You mumbled in wonder. You often visited Greece for story-time; he liked telling stories, while you liked listening to them. Right now, you were both at the old ruins of his home, he was laying on some stone bench while you were beside him, sitting cross-legged while his cats were all around the two of you. A comfortable silence passed between the two of you.
"I love cats
Is there anything wrong with that?" Greece randomly asked, but you were used to this by now.
"No," You

“Ugh! Why can't there be anything good on TV when I finally have some holiday!” you sighed as you turned off your TV. 'now what am I suppose to do?' you thought as you made your way towards your kitchen so you could make some snack when your phone rang.
“Hello?” you asked and heard a yawn.
“Hi (name). It's me Heracles. How are you?” he answered and you could feel your heart beat faster, and those butterflies in
